-- To control my cultural consumption: magazines, films, TV, music, reading, comedians. Follow my film/comic heroes: Mitchell, Theroux, Woody, Bergman, Tarantino, Scorsese, Kaufman, Dick Cavett.

-- To manage my expectations romantically and friendship-wise.
